    I was in a family vehicle collection a while back, and I remember that they had a similar drag machine but a bit more modern - 'Sidewinder"? Kent Fuller body?
    It was interesting with the motor in the back sideways. They said it never did as well as hoped.

  9. MagwindeR had a mid/transverse engine. the first thought that crossed my mind was MR II.
