I was snooping around at vintage pics and I saw a Hotrod off to the side that really captured the front treatment on your Roadster...only problem I didn't save it......the main feature was to the left and center and the similar was on the right...and it looked to be early 50s...

In the 12 years between the two pics, the car was comprehensively rebuilt (moving the steering wheel from center to left, etc.) Does anyone have the July 1951 issue of Hot Rod? The car was supposedly featured in it.

For those who are wondering what might be on the cover of the Hotrod that @SR100 says the Racer turned Hotrod is covered within...here it is. It will make it easier knowing what's on the cover.

SR the Hotrod article showcases the racer or does it highlight changeover to street?

After it was sold in 2012 it went to Giordano’s Vintage Motors
and I found a pic in a Blog dated 2012...

The AHRF article I found the Hot Rod reference in implied that it was racing in 1951.

  18. Thank you Stogy the build thread link is in the first line of my signature.

I was going for kind of a luxury Hot Rod look I agree with the vintage stock car look. I’m not sure if they ever ran four doors but if they did then this is maybe what they looked like. Hobo Jim
