Hey Fitness I know your on a thrash here...well understood but do you have a future plan to reroute the heater hoses down and under that I'm sure you are taking measures to ensure there is no connection to your header at the forward point of the rocker cover...look at you go...

Those heater hoses seem to be have enough clearance from those bitchin' lake style headers. Fire in the hole soon enough!!!!

There will be a hanger that will tidy up the lines, just don’t have it in place yet. The way the fitting comes off the intake makes this the best route for the lines. Not to worry it’ll look good when it’s done. Pretty crazy how the coupe looks today vs that day way back when in your garage eh?

Congrats on an excellent job restoring your A! Almost three years since you took possession and she will cruise the streets as a hot rod for the first time in its existence! Look at this photo from the previous owner to remind you of your efforts...

  19. Wow. You've done good in that time frame, especially if you still have time for a regular job.

Own/operate our own business, raise two kids and build a hot rod. Budget dictates the pace too as I did the major spending re motor and paint as I saved up money to do so. That was probably the biggest delay. I only use “extra” cash for the hot rods, never day to day cash flow to keep the boss lady happy.

Chasing a few stupid little electrical gremlins right now. To be expected with a new full wiring harness. Have most of them worked out. I have ended up with a bad fuel sender which is a pain in the ass as now i have to pull the tank to get to the sender. Grabbed another sender from Lordco and tested to the gauge and she works like a charm. That's my luck. Had a bad MSD 6al box brand new on my Camaro when i put the new motor in. chased a bunch of wiring etc until i finally figured it had to be a bad box. plugged the new one in and bam it fired on the first turn! Sometimes i hate building hot rods! ha ha The weather has also decided to turn cold and rainy, no doubt thanks to the coupe being almost ready to drive. Had snow on the mountains around the area in the last couple nights so i'm guessing we are in for an early winter! Hopefully we get an early spring too! Need to put some miles on the coupe before Deuce Days!

Someone posted about the MSD boxes, apparently there are knock offs from China, look exactly like the real thing. Get her on the road! That sender bites but I’m sure you will work it out before it snows

Got some nice love from Offy today! Second time they’ve given me a shout out on IG. Pretty cool to see a well known name like them like your work.
