Saturday!

 

Here's the Baileyton recap. Saturday was the high stress day. Two wrecked cars and the dew coming down at night was making for some nervous times in the staging lanes. I didn't want to make a pass. My 2nd gear was gone so it was a 1-3-4 shift and the 3rd was a lot of load on even a sticky track. Me and Shannon were the next in line after Gary crashed and then they decided to stop racing to our relief. Track was awesome on Sunday. I might post up some of the crashed car pics. Still trying to get those out of my head though.

 

Bummer about the crashes. Glad no one was hurt. Snowman

 

Just to add to that, : Thx for posting this Tony, and I hope you and Kim are about recovered from the flu.

 

Wait wait, so does this mean you've broken a hightower, jerico, and a G-force?

 

Well broke is more like messed up. Every time it’s been missing going into gear. I think the shift handle is not in the right place to be honest. Here’s some pics of the dog rings Joe replaced with a 25% bigger set. Didn’t get pics of the upgraded stuff.

Well damn, I never saw either of yall! there from 12:20 till after finals.

 

We were on the fence right in front of the Double Down 57 Wagon. I ran into Enloe.

 

We were back and forth from Q&D trailer area and fence right along where Quain held the drivers meeting. I was wearing a Q&D shirt and straw hat and riding a mobility scooter.

 

Apparently I was right next to Southcross2631 and didn't know it. We had the red fold up triple seat. I had a green hat and my son wore Quick & Dirty shirt.

Man that was a blast! Thanks for the Spinny race shots - I saw his fender and the tach was laying over - thought 4th gera and he'll get me - buried the tach in 3rd and it spit one of the stacks off the injection at the line! Blew my stack!

 

That could have turned out much worst.

Tony, should we tell Joe how it went? Or tell him to get off his ass and attend when it's so close to home?

 

Well my transmission works awesome so Joe can do whatever the hell he wants!

 

Yeah no kidding - it rolled across track at the finish line and the ticket booth lady says "something fell off your car" Kim went back and found it. Didn't cut a tire or get bent so yeah it could have been a bad deal.
