Touché but the blower nor the boost has been a problem for me it's everything else like the clutch and fuel pump crapping out or in tonight's case the garage fire im bout to just give up fortunately I'm ok and most of my stuff is ok

I know man I am fine just really frustrated I was moving some stuff around and knocked a piece of heavy plate over and it cut through an extension cord that I was using on the shop vac and it shorted out and next thing I know poof the place was on fire good thing for fire extinguishers and good neighbors it's just a damn mess now after I spent 4 days rearranging and cleaning now I get to do it all over again

Sorry to hear about your shop Jackson. My daughter saved some cash. So We had a few choices. Small block, air conditioning or the Paxton. She said everyone has a small block and if we get it fast enough she will have enough wind so no a/c.

I know nothing about these blow through‘ so it should be fun. The plan is a cam and some major head work over the winter. I hope to come up with or make pulleys to v-belt it

You will either need a box for the carb or a blow through carb and a bigger fuel pump to keep fuel pressure above boost pressure also a boost sensitive pressure regulator a carb enclosure would be the easiest and look correct also easier on the wallet if you need any help let me know

The way sbf parts are priced since the 5.0 cars took off,you could probably build a 302/347 as cheap as a 350/383...just depends which car you score to shove it in.
An early Falcon comes to mind for either motor.Joe Lunsford runs a 331ci sbc in his Falcon “Frozen in Time”,and it’s a really badass, correct looking car that’s gonna run REALLY hard once he get some more seat time to figure out the combination.
It’s already pulling the wheels on the launch.

Scott. My Ford engine stash ranges from 289's up tp 460's and everything worth having in between. So I can build most anything! It is just that James said I did not have to be fast to have fun. Chevys can be fun and not fast, right??? lol I am still resisting my buddies temptation on that 64 Mercury. Besides if I build one those Chevys I got, some Chevy guy will pay big bucks and I can buy more Ford stuff!!!! lol Larry

My daughter isn’t running hers again until it’s fast. No pressure on my part or anything. The old grocery getter is all we are bringing. It may be its last meltdown event. Next year both kids will have there’s ready and unless I come up with a semi and a better money tree I am not sure I could get 3 there.

Man I live 3 miles from mokan and I took the willys and the dragster to the H.A.M.B. Drags a couple years ago and I decided that was way too much work let alone hauling them all the way to meltdown lol not to mention I broke both of them and the willys twice all in the same day lol

Jackson, hope you have recovered from your mishap.
And just thinking out loud, shouldn't these vintage T/F parts just be something to watch?
