Event Coverage Steel In Motion (10th Anniversary) pics here...

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by seadog, Aug 25, 2018.

  1. Today was the tenth anniversary of one of the southeast's premier traditional hot rod events, Steel In Motion. The crowd was a little smaller this year due to the event being rescheduled from a rain- out in the spring. Nevertheless, the folks who were there were treated to an unusually pleasant day, considering it is late summer in the south.

I didn't take as many pictures a I usually do, rather I spent some time on the track with the roadster and thouroughly enjoyed the day. Here are some of the things I saw. All of the pics are at:

    Thanks Tom...........

  8. The clocks were not on. I ran twice, once against Bill Aiken’s T and a solo run. By my speedo it looked to be between 75-80 at the finish. I have no idea about the time. At least it didn’t embarrass me, it pulled strong and didn’t sputter, miss and/or fart. It was fun...probably been 40+ years since I was on a drag strip.

  9. Hows it going Tom , great pics & I really like the trophys .....
