  4. You can just stop any posters stuff from appearing by going to their profile and selecting ignore. No more scrolling past, they just won't show at all. some folks love trouble!

What gets me about this, is the fact that these guys likely still had column-shifters, on a track where they were constantly going up and down thru the gears.

Pete was a very successful sports car owner and driver . He raced at Sebring, and Some European circuits. He drove my 1959 Ferrari 250 TR on many of the northwest courses with great success. He owned a VW dealership in Fife Washington. Pete passed away a few years back.

    just sayin'

Makes you wonder what they would say about the current methods in road courses. Would they agree or snicker and laugh?

  17. Was this a production vehicle? I doubt it, haven't ever seen one before. If it's home-built they did a great job on it.

I THINK it was a production truck. Posie built one a few years ago for a customer. It was is in the AACA museum recently, light green in color. Very good looking.

  19. If it was production, it must've been a very limited run. I guess it wasn't uncommon for some of the manufacturers to do that, probably testing the market. I know Nash & Hudson did some pickups in the late 40s or early 50s, they didn't last too long. Interesting.
