I've been wanting to make a short video to preserve the story of my old hot rod 32 5w. So, I finally got a camera and just went after it. Here's what I ended up with. I think it's kinda cool. Maybe someone else will too...

I see you did the road test video before you put the vinyl top on and by the way the top how to video was awesome also.

Love the car ,what a great video, the only thing I question, is the lower shock mounts?? I built a mid 6os 32, and those mounts were not around then?? great car!!!!

Coolness! It did make me feel a bit old when you said you installed a 327 cuz you wanted an old engine. I'm going to go take some arthritis meds and rock a while on the porch.

Great ‘32, like your passion for keeping it real! Looks like you have one of my buddy Roy’s key fobs. The only things I feel would improve the “vibe” would be period valve covers, an early big letter Hurst handle , and smaller headlights. This is not criticism...just friendly advise, I love it!

    Thanks for watching!

Yep, You are right. When I first got it on the road, it had no front shock mounts. I drove it to Austin, TX...yes, with no shocks, haha! After that 900 mile trip, I just decided to stick some shocks on there quickly before the next trip. But, it ended up being another one of those things on the list that "I'll get around to."

    haha!

There's a good story on the valve covers...I LOVE factory 327 valve covers and had those on for a while. They had little moon breathers installed long ago and I lost one of the caps. I couldn't find another quickly and was thinking about different valve covers.... I bought some old Edelbrock finned valve covers. *now brace yourselves for this*... I'm actually not a fan of fins. I thought they would look awesome with just the edelbrock logo and no fins...sort of as if they were an early prototype or something. So, I proceeded to grind and polish the fins completely off. I know, I know...blasphemy.

  29. Wow. You were driving on an LA highway without massive traffic! Something is wrong.

Sorry, I didn't get a clear view of your covers; that's pretty unique. I misspoke their cool and fitting. I've accumulated quite a few Covico's over the last few decades, but I have never scarfed one with an original sticker on it...that's awesome!
