Is it just me or not, I just don't get why people drove cars like this in the winter? My Aunt and Uncle had a way cool 1963 Chevy SS convertible, red with a white top and interior, I loved that car. My aunt complained bitterly about how she was just freezing to death in that old ragtop! Even as the little kid I was back then I just didn't get it, why didn't they just buy a winter beater to drive and leave that cool Chevy parked in the garage? I bet they could have picked up something good enough for a winter driver back then for cheap, something like $50. Dad bought his 1946 GMC pickup for $90 back in that same time period and it was a great truck! Oh well, that SS Chevy got traded off on a new Pontiac in 1968. :(
