    You're welcome and thanks @lippy, @kratebike and @Bill Rinaldi. Bill it truly was, but I don't feel like I really concurred it so I think I definitely need to go again. Speed Week 2018 OMD-0231-Edit.jpg Speed Week 2018 OMD-0263-Edit.jpg
    This one started out as a '37 Chevy, or at least the body shell is from one

    Thanks for the wonderful pictures. Do you have any information about this coupe? I saw some other pics of it and it has a Wyoming plate from my county. I have never seen this car in town and was wondering if I might know him. Will see you at the Hill climb in a couple of weeks!!

    @Jalopy Joker I didn't find an image of that 911 roadster - just a 911 coupe.

    OK - likely just a typo in your records - they do not use duplicate numbers at Bonneville

    If you explain it to me enough times, I finally get it @Jalopy Joker. I thought you were looking for a Porsche 911but what we are talking about is a '34 Ford with the number of 911 Speed Week 2018 OMD-1752-Edit-2.jpg

    Hey Anthony (@typo41) I would have liked that too. I did not have official press credentials for this so I did not have one of the lime green vests and kind of blended in. @jimmy six here is another image of that truck with a very cool '33 Ford that came with it, or at least I think it did.

    You will get there Wayne (@Bowtie Coupe) - it took me a while and I live a lot closer. Of course, both the last two times I had it scheduled, they cancelled it. I have no frame of reference, Anthony (@typo41), since it was my first time, so I am glad to hear you say that.

    Wonderful pics, Dan. The one with the three Bones' cars leaving reminds me of the mirages that were in the old westerns. I really Did see them..............right?

    Thanks @catdad49. It really was like that - I was aimed at the course and then as I looked around I saw them way off in the distance cruising out. I just turned around and banged off a few shots. A lot of the long range shots were tricky or impossible because the heat waves coming off the ground really did give things the look of a mirage.

    Thanks you @gsnort. What kind of truck was it? I may not have missed it.
    @catdad49 - I wasn't taking it as a criticism. I appreciate your comment. I did find the mirage effect came into play when I was trying to capture the cars running the course. It is something I will work on next year - mostly by figuring out a better place to shoot from.

    I know Dan, just messin' with you. Look up John Mullen on here, he has a build thread for his 640 truck, the Va. HAMB Special.
