The change the link slightly every day on the online broadcast. today it is https://www.meridix.com/event/137580
For those who haven't been to Bonneville there are some lulls in the action which is normal. Right now they are taking lunch breaks on course 1 &2

Slight miss could be from being to rich at WOT, has John made changes with jetting, timing etc. for density altitude? Did John indicate what plugs look like?....Knowing John he's already done these, if he hasn't been to busy with all the problems.

edit: Just heard announcer say density altitude just over 7000 ft!

There is never too tight belts
If you can’t breath they are just right
Jill is the best for that
He has to fulfill his rookie requirement before he can move to the short course a timer has to sign his time slip
I miss what they did for the ‘tailgate’ problem
It’s Speedweek not SpeedDay he has time to work out The Gremlins
    Good luck!

While I’m at it and thinking about bright sun at Bonneville, you might consider taping dark cloth on top of that nice white dash. Sun could hit that dash at correct angle to turn inside of windshield into a mirror. Trust me! One of old funny cars after engine start & body put down…. Saw nothing but mirror image of aluminum work covering engine/blower/injector on inside of lexan windshield as sun reflected off the aluminum. Made for hair raising run trying to look out each side.

I'd believe he has to make a complete pass on the rookie course at X speed before moving on. It's one of those you have to run over this____ but can't go faster than this_____ things.

Tell the driver to relax, and let the truck drive him.

So it looks like seadog won the best guess of first full run, with 101.267mph prediction.

I'm not involved but viewing the yellow truck closely may give you the answer to the tailgate inquiry.
I do not see a problem but as a spectator I have nothing to say in the controversy if there even is one. Some things in the inspection process are not even mentioned at the end of the week or are written in the log book to be remedied before the next SCTA sanctioned event. Nuff said...lets run 'um
