How's it going Grouch????..... Long time no chat.... It's great to see ya again bud!!!! Love the car by the way!!!!
Very nice. Our family car when I turned 16 was a 59 Biscayne 4 door 348 with a 3 speed on the column.
I wouldn't do a thing g to that but drive it! Beautiful! Sent from my LG-TP450 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
THAT's not a shitbox, NOW if you want a real shitbox and have to have one. I've got a deal of the century for you, even trade for a real shitbox and you won't have to thank me
I guess you guys have a different definition of shitbox than I do. I wouldn't kick either one of those cars out of the garage. Both are great looking cars. I have to say the Chevy trips my trigger more than the Ford though.
I love it. How many people on here even know what the term "solids" means? How many have ever adjusted solids. Not trying to be offensive, just curious.
I learned on the 273/235 I had in high-school. Took me a couple of try's and a borrowed Motors Manual to get it right.
Beautiful car! I’d love to get it into second gear and stand on it just to hear it wind up! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Definitely not a Shit Box. Luv those 59's. The wing's and cats eye tailights look great. I saw that car listed for sale and wouldn't mind having it myself. Gary
Nice, nice ride. Factory floor shift? Didn't see any column linkage. If it runs like it looks, you have a winner.
Piece of cake!...... I always adjusted mine cold @ .026" intake and exhaust.... By the time the engine warmed up, the rockers were at .030" lash...
That goes counter to what I was taught. Heat expands the metal and that closes the gap, so the clearance is necessary to allow the valve to close all the way when the engine warms up. Please educate me.
