I read all about the build of this dragster awhile ago. I was really moved by its story. I had no idea of my friends dad and car clubs involvement. I may admire it more now.

Well he made a pass in this Stude today and that alone at 91 is something


He was supposed to take the dragster for a run. I missed it if it happened though. Maybe someone will fill in blanks as I mostly post the pics I took.

@Runnin shine are you friends of Chads from Portage or maybe Elwood? I've Known the Hays clan since about 81. Jim and my Father helped each other out putting their old vettes together at the same time. I worked for Jim and Debbie at their bicycle shop when i was 15. I like to think i was partially responsible for them getting started on those old vettes when they did.

 

Runnin Shine thanks for the pics. I believe Jim Hays' Vette is a 56. Great running car for sure.

Well he wasn’t really skinny I was trying to be nice. I believe he always shopped in the husky section.
