Worked in the local car wash during my high school years and a chain was what pulled the vehicle through the car wash. We were taught to hook them from the bottom. If someone accidently or stupidly hit the brake while the vehicle was being pulled through the car wash, the chain wud break, but fall to the ground with no damage being done. Of course, several guys had to rush to the car and push/pull it along before the car behind it crashed into it. I remember some close calls, but no crashes.

I love these old hot rod movies where they have thirty year old actors playing the parts of reckless teenagers.

 

Yes, who would have known not only how many lives it saved but we also would be using it to send dirty pictures, not being able to live ours lives without it being in your hand, annoying other people, and posting on facebook when your on vacation so everyone knows your not home so they can rob your house.

 

Over sharing is a ptoblem.

 

I've always wondered about dual engines with different kinds of engines, wouldn't one hold the other back in one way or another?

 

It's the only way a small block was able to beat a hemi....

 

Car was called the Odd Couple.... actually was pretty competitive.

 

Not if they are both rotating in the same direction...
