Here it is again....mark your calendars and lets go slot car racing... feel free to pm me if you need info or anything
Anything? Me buying the Winning lottery would be a nice start! But seriously after winning the very first "Slots-O-Doom" and last years I'd like to see more Illinois boyz try to take the title from me! Good luck Sally's....!
In addition to the race winners, will there also be... a Mini-Ridler... America's Most Beautiful Slot Car... a basement show? LOL. Regardless, I hope to see a lot of photos. Gary
Well another awesome day at the "Slots-O-Doom" races! New faces and some old(er) faces but the smiles were huge. I'll see if I can post some vids and pics but I can't promise anything until I relearn how to navigate this goofy site!
I finally got my ass down there. One of my highlights of this rainy weekend. A very fun time Did you guys prepay? Bob asked me if I was part of the group? I misunderstood, thought it was pay and play. Oh well, Hoodlum Tim let me take his place for one race. Thanks Tim. Hey, I managed to keep the car on the track for 33 laps, not bad for the first time. I also didn't mind placing the wiped out cars back on the track. Crazy, But I loved it! Thanks for the great time! -Marc
Next year have a hardbody car ready to run... Unlike pbr_me_asap jeffy who had to finish building his car at the track so he could take a lap. Did he make a complete lap???
It's amazing, but that is the very same circuit / layout / track design that was popular in the 1960s. Wow!
Haha yes that was my green Willys. Marc, It was good to meet you, we do this every year, hope you can make it again, I'm sure we'll cross paths this summer

My 34 coupes body is trashed... I've got something special for next year.... Yep I plan on coming up from Texas for this!
