OK... the first Deuce... a tudor fell into my lap when my Uncle in Massacusetts got sick. He gave it to his son in law who was not into cars and lived in Oakland,Ca. After storing it in my Uncle’s neighbor’s barn for two years offered it to me for a price that some one not even in the hobby yet couldn’t resist. Been posting on the slow banger build here for a while. Recently was posting a wtb for a floor board. Gentleman contacts me with some “32 parts”. Basically selling a show tool kit.... but was interested in talking. I like to talk to guys who have been around. Two weeks later I drive an hour from my house to see his “3 closets of parts”. ....and a 5 window coupe. Hit it off, made a deal. I now have a Tudor AND a 5 window. We pulled it out. Not run in at least ten years. The neighbor 3 houses up was wiring a 60k fiberglass deuce(no comment). Had no idea the car was there..... I must be living right.

Nice score! Is it all original or older restoration? I'm not huge on stock, but I'd have a hard time hot rodding that one... it's pretty nice!
Wow!two of the most desirable Ford models in great complete condition!While you see some other poor Hambers have to take rusty,semi flattened body sides and try to assemble a car from them!Awesome!
It seems to be getting more common these days. The guy or couple who own the car get old or die and their heirs don't want it. Often the vehicle hasn't been driven in years. There are getting to be fewer and fewer people who want them.
Right, this is the new "Barn Find". Nice original cars that were restored then parked. The gentleman I bought it from could not work on it enough to get it back on the road after adding hydraulic brakes and a restored tank and gas line. Both cars are all original metal. My philosophy is if I want to cut something up, I would get a brookville. This will get a 40's treatment. Simmons head, dual burns with strombergs, header, Clark artillary wheels. Full fendered.
Awsome score...... as I kick sand !!! Very cool. This hobby for all accounts is slowing down, not many people getting into it anymore. But I keep seeing threads like this, great cars for sale at decent prices parts etc popping up. As the older population gets rid of this stuff and prices come down slightly from the over inflated values of 10 years ago the hobby will grow once again. I don’t care if you didn’t grow up in the era or not are into cars or not ,-an old car puts a smile on everyone’s face young or old. Awsome , Grest find
