Bill Brutsman passed away 07/7/2018 at his home in Lenexa, Ks. He was 74.. A very active Ole Timey Hot Rodder who was still driving his 29 "Bonneville " Roadster as his daily driver. One fine Gentleman who loved to share his experiences from the ole days. I' am sure he will have plenty to share at the Hot Rod Reunion in the sky.! RIP, Bill.
May he rest in peace, every time we lose one of these fellas, it’s like a library of our hobby disappears.
I Knew Bill well during his New Jersey years. He was one of the founders of the North Jersey Street Rod Association in the late 1960s. First rod run I ever went to was at his house. And he made the dash plaques himself at work! RIP ]
Met Bill in the early 70's when I built my first 32 roadster. Talked with him many times over the years. He was a good one. RIP
Met Bill in the mid 70's when he and Rick Eccli were putting on the Model 40 Meet in Ft. Collins, Co. We became friends and kept in touch for several years. He was a great guy. RIP Bill.
Like Weedburner, I knew Bill from the old Brutsman & Eccli days. He was a great guy. He would stop by our place on his many trips when he was working for Holley, I believe. So sorry to hear this. Godspeed Bill. Mick
