  4. I always wonder how some of these old customs that took so many hours of hard work could end up being pushed over in the corner or left outside behind the barn to rust away. HRP

Because as big as we think the love of old cars is too so many they are just that...old ugly things really of minimal interest. Through cycles in life things fall into disrepair get sold off and sold for scrap just like all the other clunkers.

  11. I have seen some customs that missed the mark by a mile and IMPO this car has/had some interesting work done and was actually pleasing to the eye in it;s former life and you are correct I have seen some customs that for one reason or another appeared to have had no thought of esthetics. What I am saying is even if its really awesome in appearance, to a family that has inherited their passed family member's car it just becomes something to unload and sometimes you have to pay people to take it as hard as we may believe it is to them just an old car with scrap metal value. Many times they may not be into Craigslist, computers or anything.

Stogy I don't know how to do that but is's in this thread just put in what I quoted and the car thread is "Violet Fantasy" . I'm better at taking things apart and never finishing projects, just ask my 57 Chevy.
