I don’t know @Okie Pete sounds like your observation is rationale and realistic. And that’s from another guy that knows little- -that matters.

I used to feel the same, Pete. But over time , I've come to accept them.
IMHO, there are other elements that keep them from working well in that particular instance.

Not sure, but I know that a guy named Dale (Dales whale is what he calls the car) owns it now and has for quite a few years. I honestly thought he told me that he built it over the years, but could be mistaken that comment from another conversation with someone else. He and his wife are super nice people and for some reason I think he’s from Texas.

Mo, those are some very nice cars you have posted . The taillight treatment seems to work with those examples you posted . The larger full bodied fat fendered cars seem to flow with the taillights . Especially the fade away fender cars . The car I posted to me the taillights seemed like a after thought and didn't flow with the cars body lines. But that's my .02 .
I enjoy the bare metal car , the way it shows all the pieces that have been added and customized .
    Thank you for your post.

He showed up at our local show here in Red Oak one year, A good jont from Minnesota. I did notice it had plates from A state from the south later on, which you said was Texas. So he must of migrated south. If you notice the first pic`s I posted, he had a mirror muff which is still in the car on the later pic`s as well.

Don’t know if it’s PS or a factory legit concept, but that thing is the bees knees!!

  28. Had a feeling you were right gonmad.. Turns out it is the 1955 Oldsmobile Delta 88 concept.. I love that gunmetal shade on there!
