@enloe is that you and your son standing on the left in this picture? @saltflats is that you on the right of Brian standing next to my wife, son, and I? We were busy chasing him around, it was late and he was in turbo mode so we weren't able to hang around and talk much.

Are your intentions to street drive it around some on gas like last year first or go straight out and make passes on the new mill?
I can’t imagine the possible anxiety of the first hit with such a obnoxious combination. You still the man either way.

We are making plans to attend the event at Morocco Indiana July 6,7,8th. us -41. The following weekend is the meltdown.

Been watching this go together on FB for Drag Week. Nice to see another pre-war car being built for it. Guy by the name of Mark Frietchen. You'll have company, somewhat ! If this is too OT, let me know and I'll delete my post, last thing I want to do is screw up this thread.

 

Hemi Joel had a 30 Plymouth hemi powered that's going. A guy from Canada has a 30 dodge going 360 powered. And a guy has a 30 something mopar sedan going. The pre war mopars are hot right now.

I just finished polishing those spokes. All of this humidity is really messing the wheels up. Its hard to keep them nice but worth it to me.

 

Waiting patently for today's details and if the car made it down the track.

 

All i can say is watch for the videos. They are crazy. We had 3 go pros on the car. Some video was taken from the stands also. Just a normal day of fuel altered racing. The video of it on two wheels twice in the same pass is cool. It did make a easy mid eight second pass.

 

We need video!
