The swap meets in past haven't been that great. Nothing I'd get there early for. The nostalgia drag racing is what the HRR is all about.

  2. I have hauled some fantastic things out of that swap meet. I have also sold so much two years ago I put everything away so I could watch the racing saturday.

I found parts two years ago in the swap meet to get me back on the track. ;)

The swap has a lot of cool stuff. Not the biggest. Imho the swap centers mostly on older drag racing parts. You do see a lot of stuff there that you don't find at other places.

I'd hit the swap meet early if you are looking for hot rod stuff. Usually a lot of old performance parts.

Sounds good. Will be there early Thursday. Thanks for the replies!

Been to the HRR in Bakersfield a few times. Swap meet getting thin there. But found what I was looking for and more.

Usually wet and sloppy........ there’s always top quality stuff there. Generally a little pricey but I’m a tight ass. There’s bargains don’t get me wrong, depends on what your after.

    Very cool

  17. I have been to both the March meet and bg . I was actually disappointed by the swap meets in Bakersfield. Bg is known for hard to find old race parts. For old rare and unusual parts bg is great. Don't forget to walk the pits my buddy hauled a Scott slot injector out of there. That's a rare piece.

Its a short hour and a half drive for me. Y'all drive safely.
Its been raining in Kentucky for the last three days and to continue until Wednesday night. Good news is no rain forecasted the rest of the week. Temperature to be in the ninties just the way BG always is.

Looking at the weather report it's going to be really hot and humid but I don't see any call for rain.. Have fun everyone and drink lots of water.
