    Those cardboard headliners are humbling to install. I never could get a Chevy one in without kinking it somewhere or cutting it wrong, and the Ford one looks harder.

    Get out of town! Every post just gets better, but the Merc tail lights and chrome running boards flat out blow me away! I'd make suggestions, but you've obviously got it all covered. (Scallops? :D)

    Get a new cable in there so you can start racking up the miles!

  13. I had a 53 Mercury 1/2 ton back in the late 60s. I liked the truck, but my wife didn't. I didn't mind selling it so much because I was able to buy the 55 Chev Cameo that I still own.
    Just so you know, a 394 Olds is an easy swap. That was what I swapped into mine. Just sayin' :)
