That's so clean, I'd believe it was the only one that came from the factory that way.

    Awe inspiring...another very fortunate client.

@Flop are you self taught or did you work alongside a master of the trade or take this in trade school? You certainly have attained a very high level of expertise in the art which to me it truly is a form of metal sculpture.

Just a detail question, is that T bead between the two top pieces as it left the factory at the bottom or will it get welded to the bead? [IMG]

beautiful work man!...I like how you kept the shape of the rear side windows and didnt make a "mailslot" rear window. On a 30-31 I've always thought of moving the windshield up into the header/visor and using a sliver of the visor as a front roof edge as well as moving the cowl forward enough to tuck the doors flush into the frames therefore keeping a lot of windshield height and smoothing the sides and roofline. The '30-'31 is also easy to switch sides and suicide the doors.... I know it means losing a little engine room on a stock frame but they also look good with a reversed fire wall

  12. Beautiful work! (I hope you don't get tired of hearing that) Very nice piece you started with, I got what I thought was the most perfect '31 body last year but not quite as nice as yours. I wont be chopping this one though. :)

A little technical question. Which drums do you use on the SCT to strip and which to metal finish? I'm about to buy one.
    Thx,

Flop, if you ever chopped one of my cars and put notes all over it, it would never be painted. Beautiful job . . . . . again!
