Not what ya want after a night at the track. A very short night. That power we found on the dyno toasted the transmission.

I see that I have my work cut out for me. After the USPEC I have faith in the rear suspension, got some MPG out of it.

Wow. That's 8 passes. I'm hoping that's why it only ran 12.40 108 at meltdowns last year. Definitely putting power to the tires now quick little test hit.

Killer shot of Jackson's Hemi Digger...or at least it would have been if some Yahoo hadn't photo bombed me up front there...lol

The Hemi Digger King himself. Looking extremely "IMPERIALISTIC" at least that is what the valve covers say...assuming that is what they mean!

This thing is bad ass. How fast? I am guessing quicker than 186,000 miles per second.....TIME MACHINE....welcome to 1958!

Continuing with some top secret suspension mods on the Shaker to get it hooking harder with the new motor.
Jeff keeps sending his spies around the barn to report back on what we’re up to over here.
I caught one of them and fixed him real good like:

We’ve since had to hire additional security to guard the barn:

    She’s little,but she’s a heck of a shot,and mean as a rattlesnake with a chipped tooth!

Only 3 clutches in the direct drum!!!! Two welded to the steels!!!! And the front band damn near down to the steel and all cracked to hell!!!
Found a 6 disc drum and a heavy duty band at a place. Gonna call tomorrow and get the details on all what we need and get parts coming. This will be a first for us. Looking forward to learning more. Can’t help but wonder what kind of power we were losing out on with the trans toasted..... I know not to much it’s only a little ford.... hardy har har ya jokers.....

First thing to learn is to not use those red rags.

We had some of those in a shop I worked in right out of high school, and James is right on the money with this.
Many of them have been used in machine shops before they went through the laundry, and the chips and coils of razor sharp metal are still in them even after being washed and dried.
Those red rags are bad frickin news,Man!

I will toss them right away in the morning!!! I’ve been “borrowing” them from the shop at work..... I’ll take them in and dump them in the laundry. Are them box towels ok? Paper kind? I’ve got them before from the big box store that sells lumber and shit ya know?

If you use those red rags, when you pull the pan after you ran it the filter will look like a red rag.

Wash the parts and use a blow gun to blow them dry.
Never use a rag cloth or paper on any of the parts. ;)
