Good to see all the straight 6's still living. I ran a P/S, Q/S 67 Camaro with 230/6. It ran on class time until I ran into a 59 Chevy (Boertman) that could run under record by a 1/2 second. You could drive them all week and race them on the weekend. Here is a picture of my neighbors old chevy with a 292 with Clifford goodies that runs fast and sounds mean. image.jpeg

Just picked up a 223 ford. I'm going to mate it to a t-18 and stick it in my 1988 F250 4wd.

Here's some of mine: Two '23Ts, a '30 roadster pickup drag truck, '33 Willys, '49 Anglia under construction, '48 Anglia of my son, a '30s era champ car replica. These are all powered by either a 300 Ford or a 240 Ford six.

How many of those Arias engines are out there today? Is that the old Wayne 302 head reborn?

I have a 300 6 and 5 spd manual trans in my 56 F100. It is really a nice combination to bomb around in.

It was the Howard head, which was a redesigned Wayne. Arias don't have the patterns any more as far as I know. I'm not sure where they went, but Don Ferguson Jr might know?
