I'm trying to figure out what kind of wheels these are on my 1964 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88.
They came with the car when I purchased it about 15 years ago.

    The bolt pattern is 5x5

They are a decent turbine style wheel that I may consider keeping on the car but i'm missing one wheel. They remind me of the Lincoln wheels of the 70's. I've googled all types of oem wheels and can't find a match.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Dan

What does that center cap on the rear wheel look like up close? I tend to agree they have a Lincoln OEM look and some years of Ford, Mercury and Lincoln used the 5" bolt circle. Mopar was typically 4.5" and 5.5" on select cars and truck, no 5" to my knowledge.

Somewhere in the '60s, there was an obscure optional alloy wheel offered by Olds. I saw a set on a 98 once 40 years ago, but can't say if yours are those ...

  4. Don't have one of the OEM hubcaps do you? I don't see these without them....

Saw a Facebook post from "Barn Finds" of a 1965 Mercury Park Lane Marauder that's sporting wheels very similar to yours...not exact, but close.

There is a Cadillac center cap on the rear wheel. But i've searched a ton of Cadillac OEM wheel styles and couldn't find a match

I have some original 1964 Oldsmobile hubcaps (because i have 3 1964 Oldsmobiles) but the only center cap I see I thought was for a cadillac but now that i take a closer look, it might be something different.

Isn't the bolt pattern on that car 5on4.75? If so, wouldn't that leave out the Ford wheels?

Pontiac, Olds, Buick and Cadillac of that era has 5 on 5” bolt pattern. Various year Edsel, Ford and Mercury models have 5 on 5”

    Lincoln of some type

  18. They sort of resemble the alloy wheels used on late 70's Linc-Merc cars but not quite.[IMG]

I couldn't find any FoMoCo wheels that match.

If those are indeed Ford center caps, they will have a casting number on the back that will identify them. I'm not fully convinced that they are not aftermarket though, the crest and wreath motif was used pretty commonly in the 70's.

The center of the cap looks like it is an H. That seems really puzzling to me

Now I'm curious! Is that an "H" on the that center cap?

Kinda hard to tell in the pics, do they take a shanked lug with a washer? If so, maybe aftermarket?

  25. Seems like I have seen a caddy with wheels like that. belonged to one of the Continentals.

I've searched online a couple of times now to try and ID these. No luck so far.
To throw another little twist in--the split "H" is perhaps closest to the International Harvester logo than anything else!

  27. Come to think of it, it may have been a Continental that was owned by the continental. LOL
