  5. Its a collectors hoard. Its not necessary to fix or sell or do anything other than own control and look at it to derive immense pleasure from owning it. It can be fun telling folks Not For Sale. But do gooders and pretty police often don't mind their own business. The thing is don't worry about stuff we might perceive is being hoarded. There are lots more viable projects available that are for sale than there are ready willing and able potential buyers.

I totally agree. I started gathering cars in the early 70’s when there was a huge push for recycling metal. I just wanted to save some from the shredders. If that labelled me a hoarder, so be it. My collection reached 300 cars plus. Now that I am older I have been liquidating the inventory and am currently only hoarding about 100 cars/pickups. It is kind of a retirement program but without the retirement!

A couple from my Grandmothers place in rural Oklahoma. Both are missing frames, the one on its roof is a 58 Chevy. Been there my whole life. 20180505_130602.jpg 20180505_130519.jpg 20180505_130630.jpg

8K for that 4 door Chevy seems like quite the deal.
I mean, it ran when it was new.

Haha, I agree. But, from the other side of the fence, starting at free and bargaining up is much more difficult.

Been by that place, many times. I drove by on the side road, one day, but my phone was dead...got no pics. Seems like there's always something new (old), whenever I drive by.

Went to check this thing out, last weekend. I might try to rescue it, in the next few weeks.

Here are a couple I took on a trip to pick up a used engine a few weeks ago. They are near Floyd Virginia.
