Hey Bandit I see you mention Russ Meeks. Kind of off the subject here, but Russ is the one who put the Jag IFS and IRS in my 34 way back in the early 70's. The car was not mine at the time, but I have talked to him about doing that and I agree, a really great guy.

Now on the stereo. Do I sense some negativity from some here on stereos' in hot rods? Can't understand that at all. I plan on one, then recording a top fuller and playing it at the max when I pull into a show or a Friday night cruze in.

Stereos, like air bags, are better letter left unseen. Hide your technology. MSD, CD, USB, GPS...If its got an acronym, its better let off the HAMB. That rhymed kind of.

Ha. By now, Billy has it chromed, wood grained, & upholstered, and that’s just the unseen insides !! The outside box is likely candy flaked, polished stainless, Tijuana tuck & rolled by now.

Not even gonna' mention the "speakeasy" style Crown Royal compartments.

Thanks guys. I has actually worked out well even with the top down I get tunes when I want them. No, it isn't chromed (hmmm) but if you think this was fun wait until you see what I have in mind for the pick up I'm building. I have a bit more work to do on the cab before turning my attention to the doors and I won't give it away but let's just say you will be amped up by it.
