Certain parts of it will not be accessible without tickets, The main car show and the bands ect. But there will be so many cars, so many women,so much to do and see you will be happy anyway. Great time to be in Vegas.

The car show and headliner entertainers are available to the general public. You can buy tickets there.

Viva Las Vegas is a good time! The cars are great, of course, but lots of the people will be dressed in period costumes all around the hotel and car show. They even have period-correct swimsuit contests around the pool, which are entertaining. If you like rockabilly music, they have three bands playing at any given time: two in ballrooms in the hotel, and another on the mainstage next to the car show. Wanna learn burlesque dancing? They teach lessons!

Viva Las Vegas is a bit of a crazy place! Good times!

It's the car show entrants that are sold out aka close or full. Walk in spectator tickets are 40 bucks if you didn't buy early. 35 if you prepaid. That according to way way down on their page here. http://www.vivalasvegas.net/car-show/
No sleeping in and showing up late with your car if it is in the show either and no leaving early or cruising the event.

  17. I plan to find a good spot Friday and leave the car overnight. Sleep in Saturday, no problem. Saturday I’ll be drinking beer all day in the sun, so the car stays that night too. Then Sunday it’s off to the Greasers Social Club function somewhere downtown. It’ll be a heck of a weekend, as always!

  18. If you can’t get tickets, just hang around the lobbies and bars. That’s where all the fun happens anyway.

I tried to get in the show as a spectator and could not get in. Not sure why they limit spectators but they did.

Not an answer to your question but the Saturday car show ticket included the Duane Eddy, Jerry Lee Lewis and Stray Cats Reunion concert. Here’s a few pics from the car show.

Thanks for the pictures. Doesn't look like that many people from what I see in your pictures to limit the walk ins but I wasn't there, so what do I know.
