Aaron. I was just getting ready to do a search on how to do this trunk lid swap. At the exact same time I came to your thread. I could not believe it. It was like it was meant to be. Thanks for all your great how to's Aaron. Keep up the good work. Bob......
Thanks guys. Two options, new or old? I like the V8 one, but it hangs below the panel line. I know, I know, I shouldn’t even ask; old right? Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app

I took out 3 more leafs, I left the top tapered one and four of the longer leafs including the main leaf. The suspension moves now. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
Thank you so very much for taking the time to make these videos. The help you give us newbies with your visual add is priceless. Just wanted to tell you personally I really do appreciate you.
Aaron, I know you were tapping softly, but be careful hitting one hammer against another. 2 hardened surfaces like that can shatter and send shrapnel flying that can embed in soft tissues, not good! Get a brass drift or some kind of punch for that kind of stuff. Also, dry ice works well for shrinking bushings for installation (liquid nitrogen even better!). But as always, good job. That is gonna be a sweet little hot rod when you're done!
