No vanity plate on this one, I have already registered and licensed my YOM 34 plate in WA. In fact it has been titled, licensed and registered since it was just a frame. I don't like waiting till the last minute.

Well, I put new oil in the motor. Fuel in the tank. I ran the pump while I lifted the car to check for leaks in that fuel system I built, nada. Radiator is filled, had a leaky clamp I forgot to tighten. Tight now.

I think I'm going for a start up after I check a few more things.

The video doesn't do the sound justice. It is a wicked, other worldly moan, a little angst, a dash of pain, a touch of suffering, a moment of release and jubilation...then repeat, in rapid concession.

The scoops were turned out in case of backfire so it wouldn't mar the hood. The sound is courtesy of Smithy mufflers, 8 pounds of boost and 8:1 compression. It is a great relief to get it this far.

Just make sure you get those black rubber marks off the street before the HOA sees them.

I spend more time planning than I do doing. Chrome may not get you home but shiny will get you hiney.

  23. Also the basic chemical make-up of "drinking" alcohol. Sorry, was the first thing that came to my mind.

D D: I hate Fn wiring!!! I spent the entire day with crimpers in hand and I am beat! Here is what we have:
Dash insert wired with a Painless (ha) wiring 15 pin connector. High bean, left turn, right turn, fog light, dash light dimmer, left water temp, right water temp, oil pressure, gas gauge, electric speedo, ground and power. ugh!
    upload_2018-4-15_21-37-5.png
    It plugs into this
    upload_2018-4-15_21-41-30.png
I added this, an override for the fan
    upload_2018-4-15_21-42-47.png
If you remember, and if you don't, the fuse box is mounted on a piano hinge and I have been wiring it so it will fold up under the dash when not in use.
    Now you see it
    upload_2018-4-15_21-46-11.png
    Now you don't

Sweet! If I could find what the hell I did with the Thumb knob I bought that holds it shut....o_O

I wanted to have the wiring wrapped up today but I don't the dash installed yet. I have a couple of evenings after work ahead.

I hinged mine too, one of the best ideas I've ever stolen, I may have a spare knob:eek:
I guess I better stock up on the Makers if I'm gonna get you to wire my roadster.
No hurry, when your hands heal up will be fine.
