    #5 The Backside

    Stunning History

Collectively Worldwide the North American Hotrod/Custom evolution is very diverse and
that makes it much more interesting in my opinion...

Yeah, my screen name is “bread” but I have none. :(;) I have to settle with building my stuff from scraps others would walk away from. That’s one of the reasons I love this thread- so many pics you’ve posted showing historical backyard builds. Thanks for all your effort!

I think these might fit this thread, 50's Brazilian race cars, all survivors (pictures from a 2007 event)
39 Chevy, 283, chopped and sectioned
    [IMG]
1934 Ford, Y block, parallel springs (frame swap?)

    no info on these...
1938 Ford, also Y Block powered

3 1940 Fords, still with the flatheads

    1940 Ford, Y block

[IMG]1937 Chevy, 283 power, Shortened, one of the first local race cars to use seat belts (stolen from a DC3 plane)

Cool stuff @GraeffSS those look like a heck of a lotta fun...South America has a great deal of North American vehicles in its history. It is just amazing to see these vintage survivors ready to rock and roll and continue as they did so many years ago. Hats off to those that are embracing and preserving this history...Love it...;)...My favorite is that stealthy #2 which looks to be a Chevy. Thank you for sharing these gems.

You'll get there...I have dreams too and they don't fall into my lap that's for sure...There's a lot of walkaways here thats a given...I am much like yourself in awe of some of the goings on around here. I hope someday to see your vision here amongst the crowd. T's are one of the more economical candidates and make really cool Hotrods'.
