My grandpa had a guy TIG the threaded bungs to the hair pins. I got them back today. I've been real busy with the body work on my dads car. Hopefully a couple more weeks and it'll be gone for color

Ok, I'll be the first to warn you about those jackstands.
Be VERY careful, they are not to be trusted!!!

Got the rear end put under the car and wheels and tires on it. Gonna need a taller tire, and an offset that sticks it out from the car a bit more. Working on cleaning the 5 foot deep of dirt and leaves out too. (Not literally)

The floor is good from the back seat area and back. So once I move the rear sheet metal, I'll cut the firewall and floor in one piece from the hardtop from the front of the moved sheetmetal forward.

Nothing real exciting to look at. Just a bunch of pain in the butt, hard to reach cutting going on. Got the bracing under the package Trey cut out, and the subframe to rockers connector cut free from the rocker... I've got the subframe on jack stands, and the rest of the car on the lift, so once it's cut free it shouldn't fall at all, and then the car can be lifted up to get it out of the way. The quarters were seperated from the wheel wells when I got it, so I will move the tubs and trunk pan section first, and then move the quarter panels.

    Heck Yeah
When you get rid of all that wind resistance that the body provides this thing will be really aerodynamic

Floor donor. If anyone want this when I'm done, come get it. I know there won't be much left but I don't have the heart to crunch anything old. IMG_2452.JPG IMG_2454.JPG IMG_2455.JPG

It'll make some good path panels. It has good rockers for the most part, door jams are good, got a few hard top trim pieces, has good wheel tubs

You better keep that thing there is all the panels you need for yours if I were you I would use that entire floor section it's way nicer than the one in the car you just cut up lol. Plus it would be way easier to use for what you are doin
