    I have not seen that type of warning flare in years. Anyone out there with a date range for those?

    :D I think that the last time that I saw those used was late 50`s or early 60`s.I was given 6 of them when the local road depts quit using them.

    I remember seeing them with some of the road construction during the mid to late 60's.

    Smudge pots. Used into the early 60s around here I think. Remember seeing 'em as a kid.

    They were still using those smudge pots in the late 70s around my area,I grabbed one thinking I could do something with it but I took it back a couple days later to where I found it.
     
  9. Yup, good ol' smudge pots. Now collector items. Last time I remember seeing them was early 70s.
