Nope, but it is in New Zealand, Australia, and (I think) the Eastern Front. With daylight time zones, not sure about other places on the other side of the pond.

Checking in for April. Putting a top on my special coupe this weekend.
    [IMG][IMG]

The hard part is done. The top is left and trimming excess material and then the rain gutters trim and hide em.

blgitn, that is a RARE item, is it an AA ambulance? Can't be many of those wheels out there. Just noticed the stainless AA shell! Is there a build thread I've missed? Bob

    Bob,
No build thread. It's taken several years to get this far. I believe it started life as a deluxe police patrol. I am piecing together a delivery body for it.

    BAD NEWS

Bluto, aka Jimbo-- Jim P, had a heart attack Friday. Z, his wife was home at the time and called an ambulance, but the EMT's had a difficult time getting his heart going again. As of yesterday, his heart was beating and he was breathing with a ventilator. He was still in a coma, and his pupils do not respond to light. It remains to be seen how much of his brain is gone from lack of oxygen, while his heart was stopped.
Z sent an Email yesterday with the news.

If you are the praying sort, you know what to do--but please don't forget his wife. She sees everything that she loved -gone.

Both of them need God's help

I haven't seen this picture before. Now I understand the hole and tube in the lower windshield frame; the string for the bell!
There's a full size colorized version of that Sir Raymond photo. Google can find it for you.

I'm going to give Jim a few weeks to bounce back, then look forward to a Saturday morning phone call with a first hand explanation of the whole deal. Praying for a full recovery. Bob

    Hello,

I'm not sure if it's okay to split up a subject over two months, but here's the update on the Cragar head. I did get it, and it passed a magnaflux. Does this chamber side of the head help identify it?

    Thank you!
