I thought it said grand stand at first too but realized it was the grand strand after seeing it was Myrtle Beach.

Hey DP,
Only the owner could tell you, but it looks like it could be two things:
1. a long tongue from a little dog. They have been known to have them, even though the dogs are small. Here is our guard dog with his long "panting" tongue.

or 2. The pink "thingy" is a leash that got caught hanging down at an odd "Instamatic" photo shoot.

What ever the case, those car photos were very cool, good job M.A.
