Good ones! I'd like to see more pictures of the '32 flames. They seem to be moving or maybe my eyes won't focus on them. And more of the last one. That is some cool body work.

Apparently he traded a Vincent Black Shadow for it when he lived in the States...It was built by one Adam Coffee in Pennsylvania in 58 story at this link. Gerald bought it in 62 then sold it in 65...its still around too.

    Quoted...

Based on a 1930 Ford Roadster it took him three years to build and won 15 firsts from the 20 car shows he entered it in.

The Flamed 32 perhaps someone knows more about it. I just cover snooped. The cycle front fenders are pretty cool too...

    The Tank
At Getty it says Scottys LSR and written is quote... 1955 Early mockup of a Bonneville lakester land speed record car fashioned from the wartime surplus

There are no other pics but your right...its pretty wild looking. I too want to see more...

Thanks @Sancho it is lacking in those headlight mods but of course a part of its journey. So I am going to assume the R & B Garage did custom work.

Were they selling the car as a modded with this shot as a candidate for mods on their lot at the time?

Did the story you read elude where it saw mods done?

The car on the far left is Bob Ruffi's streamliner. It had a frame made of electrical conduit and a '25 Chevy four cylinder. In May of 1940 it made a one way run of 146 mph and an average or 140. I held the record for years.
