    E4AFD47A-A1A3-400E-A62C-3918149F2E75.jpeg Lovin this thread. Chopped mine 4 1/4 inches. My car was rough as guts and had been rolled too, hanging the doors was a nightmare, had to fab a couple hinges too.Hoping to get it finished this year.

  12. got the panels welded , ground and filled the welds down....als did some lead work on the top roof/A pillar....

  16. got the passenger door top welded up and the welds are ground down...
    started to have fun coloring the old girl......I'm getting the knack of applying the super blue to get a richer color....

    Are you going to oil the blueing? It will rust quite quickly exposed to the outside if you dont
     
  19. I'm going to use Dupont urethane clear coat plus a dulling agent.

  20. applied a Dupont urethane clear coat plus I added a flattening agent. She might be too shiny. I might not of added enough flattener. It's hard to tell under the fluorescent lights.

  21. well, I shot her again with clear, this time I did 4-1-2 mixture. 4 clear 1 activator and 2 flattener. It's hard to see under fluorescent lighting but she's nice and flat now . Looks just like an freshly washed old rod after being pulled out of a barn. That's the look I was going for.
