    First make sure the battery and bulb is good. Put a sliver of match book cover in one set of points and rotate till bulb just lights--note reading on scale. Move sliver to other set of points and repeat. IIRC each point dwell will be around 18* and the total will come out at about 32* (NOT 36). Been so long (I've had a Sun Machine for years) that one might turn till bulb just goes out. Play with it till it makes sense. Do a search for instructions and as many as were made there will likely be some available.

    "loves to talk" ......... about flatties... think he has one of those machines... so grab a good seat and some pop corn before you call him...

    Do you have a factory Ford manual from the 40's? Most of my shop manuals have a section on using it.
