Wow I always wondered where it ended up and hasn't been on the car show circuit for quite some time if I'm not mistaken

I assume Jim Streets estate in Dayton, Ohio. I hear there will be an auction there in May

  6. I for one hope you find it and restore it to it's former glory, you would be the ideal caretaker with your passion for customs. HRP

  7. Man I had heard it had yellowed but wow. Someone better start collecting some murano pearl because BC/CC with mica pearl would be a shame on that car if it was restored.

  12. I wonder what the colour is really like? Here is a picture that is much less yellow. May just be the camera making it look so yellow or perhaps more white in this picture?

Those cars look better that I expected ( at least from the rumors over the years) Norms car would be fairly easy to restore back to its former glory , which I hope someone does. Did Street pass away? I always figured that was the only way that those two cars would become available. Bill

  21. love to see those both restored ( Kookie Kar back to way it was )

  22. You’re the guy Mark....you must own it. The show car to end all show cars. It’s fate....

I kinda dig the gold the paint has turned into. Ironic that it’s the Golden Sahara and ultimately turned that color. Looks in better shape than I had feared. Norms car looks in pretty decent shape as well. Seems once upon a time I read Jim had saved all the Kookie parts he removed for his update. If that’s the case, hopefully they will go with the car when it sells and be a relatively easy transformation back

Man.... I’d love to. I am afraid it will sell for more than I could possibly scrape together..... anyone want to buy my other crappy cars so I can? (Just kidding)

  24. Your "crappy" cars are as out of reach for most of us as the Sahara will likely be for you.... ;)

Mark, I'd love to have any of your "crappy" cars but I would have to sell all my truly crappy cars to by just one. Ha, ha.....
Lets hope the stars align and it ends up in your hands somehow.

  26. Mark, the sahara would be in best hands at yours, i think. i would donate a small amount o'bucks to that.
    Cheers, Carsten

  27. Purchase price aside I can't even imagine what small fortune it would cost t properly restore it.

Mark, if you'd happen to have use for a left nut, I'll take dibs on the '61....
Seriously, hope both the Sahara and the T get the attention they deserve and see the light of day again.
