I've not seen any pictures of the Kookie car but I'm sure some will be posted soon. This is the only pictures that I have seen so far. Hopefully kustom historian will start one soon.

  16. This is Manuel Reyes' car that he painted in his garage. I had the pleasure of seeing it in person, in his garage, shortly after he had painted it when I met up with him to discuss the paint he mixed up for me for my truck. Pictures do not do the colour justice. Also hard to see in pictures but he welded threaded bungs into the A pillars for the spotlights so no need for the clunky brackets. Lots of cool little things on this car.

    Wow!
    Wow! Just....Wow!

I was fortunate enough to see the GS when it toured the Ford dealerships in the early sixties. I will never forget that pearlescent paint!
It saddens me somewhat to see its present condition, knowing that it is not possible to return it to its former splendor.
Nevertheless, it is quite thrilling to have it see the light of day, after so many decades!

  19. I can't imagine that one of them wouldn't.
It is a beautiful build. I got to see it at the GNRS this year.

I came across this vintage looking photo of a beautiful '34 coupe while searching on line.
I know nothing about it, other than it's purrrfect!

    (EDIT: Photoshop???)

Curious, does anyone have any idea why the GS was hidden away for so many years...???

Mr. Street didn't want anyone to see it unless it was perfect, such as when he showed it.

  29. Great shots @KustomLincolnLady! I'm surprised no one has mentioned that the Buick has an Imperial steering wheel in it. Very kool! E
