    Hey Gary,
Nice photo of one of the most unusual Chevy sedans made. It was a cool cruiser in our neighborhood as the windows rolled down and the opening was amazingly huge. Our cousins had it for their primary car and even though it was a family vehicle, it was still a cool cruiser. 4 doors, 4 people, 4 windows down, one big open air hardtop were all that was necessary to have a great time cruising. We were amazed how lower center post kept the doors attached. But, it was a 4 door hardtop built for fancy cruising.

I can't figure out what that exhaust contraption does between the exhaust ports and where the headers bolt on...

    Hey GK,
They might be tube extenders for the curved headers to clear the steering box. That would allow the headers to stay in their smooth design shape and not have those crazy loops to clear the box. Just my $.02 idea.

The headers are smooth, uniform, and look great on this car. The worker seems to have other problems in the photo.

There's a light mounted on the roof, too. Either some sort of local police or a fire department officer (chief, ast. chief, etc.)

I wonder what is going on in the couple of photos with the corner hardware and the boarded up market. There is debris in the street in both pictures. Most of the cars are older with the exception of the 55-6 Packard. Note the cop headed for the stores. Maybe a fire or vehicle damage to the stores??
