  6. Enjoying the pix of the '59 Chevys, particular the El Caminos. Thot we shud see a larger pic of one of the best, Paso John's, which was taken by one of the best photographers, Dan Greenberg.

    Time for some Bu-Wrecks?

This was Bill Mitchell's own personal Rivvy, the "Silver Arrow I".
    Check that hood-line!
(Don't hate on the mirrors...this rig was built in 1962!)

Now that is slick, and one I have not seen before. It looks just like the artist's conception come to life, even more so than a regular Riviera, which is saying something.

Not the same car if you're referring to this. [IMG]

Good question. When I spoke to the owner this past summer, he showed me the picture of it in pink/white primer. About 2004 was the first time I saw it and it was in the color that it is now. The current owner bought it painted, I think Clayton Customs had gave him the primered shots. See post 8977-8979. Stanlow69 shows this car in all white.

Was Clayton Customs out of Michigan? I don’ remember if the current owner told me, or when it was built. Thanks for the info.

Yes, Sturgis Mi. I am not sure when it was built but its been a while probably mid to late 80's we ran with them when we had our pontiac.

Thanks, I thought that’s what the owner said. His name escapes me too. This car seemed to be a little similar to Dave Stuckey’s, not as radical for sure, the radiused wheelwells maybe. Got any pic’s of it in Pink? Lots of talented builders all over this great Country huh?
