Features Kustoms blues? I need to see some kustoms....

This actually is a '62. H-M wanted to try racing one, but the stock boxy roof on the '60-62 models had too much lift at speed so this was their answer. The arrival of the '63 with the fastback top eliminated the need, so development went no further. H-M did back-door work with some privateers on fielding some Falcons and Comets through '64 (who had some success, with reports that the Falcon actually handled better than the Mustang in trans-am), but Ford was saving it's big promotions for the coming Mustang, so the Falcon program at Ford died.

The Lucas Flamethrowers look so perfect on the front of a 58!

 

The fastback on the Holman Moody falcon always looks so awkward to me . The idea of a fastback is sure nice though, just not that one.
