33 pickup front spring lower plate. Is this the correct one? Spring measures 1-3/4 wide but the plate has tangs that are 2-1/4 wide. Will this create movement or allow IMG_1602.jpg spring to slide back and forth?

  4. That plate probably came on a big BB truck as it has a wider spring.

The u bolts go around crossmember also, so there is no way they have a 1 3/4" span cross is atleast .125 material plus maybe .125 clearance on each side so the span is probably 2 1/4" or little more

    Thanks!
My plate is definitely wrong it's measuring 3 3/8 center to center.
Guess I'll be ordering up a new plate.
