going to start with a '40 hood and work my way down. there is a tudor over on its side, in the woods nearby.
got a ton of stuff done on this thing. the T was pretty twisted and rusty. got it mostly patched. making a door. took out the drip rail as it was making the a pillar look too wide. built some inner structure to get things evened out.
this thing might look like something after all. going in on this project, it was a 50/50 shot at best.
got a buddy, loves to create stories to promote sales... he would give this hotrod a....... "reputation" !
That body looks like it came straight of the inside back cover of an old Rodder's Digest. Sent from my SM-G955U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
This is looking better all the time, I like to one larger door. '27SingleDoor, only one on your block. Bob
Wow, I never would have thought those tow would go together as well as they do. The chop just looks a little disproportional to me. A little too much unless you plan on making it a saltflats car. Still looks good. r
I think it would be cool to have chopped down 34 ford doors, what do you think, with the rounded corners and slanted shut lines?
After looking at all this, I will have nightmares tonight. This is the phantom monkey hunter car. Flying ones you fry crispy and eat with moldy bread slathered with blue cheese and wash down with good cognac. A time warped jalopy that needs a long nose with a front drive blower in front of a small displacement Hemi. Something like the real Dean Moon had going. Totally zoot so far, to quote Baskerville; and, may the little men with hammers bless it's completion. Oh Yes!
This may not have dawned to a lot of us in the peanut gallery but this is a T. It looks really low but remember a T is small. That's a small F1 cab...not a Coupe roof. Think how the driver sits in a T. The driver is going to be towards the rear at the highest part of the roof. Cozy, but I do believe there is going to be more vision and comfort than you might think.
What are plans for an engine? I hope it is something interesting like a potvin blown stude six with mechanical fuel injection
Count me as one who was leery when I first looked at this thread, but now I have to stick around to the conclusion and witness the outcome! It is looking better in every update there are no rules in hotrodding, right?
