Ted might just fire back and say "Ford guys need replacement parts, but Chevys don't" LMAO

There must be a lot of Pre Hershey stuff going on that we never know about, glad you "invited" yourself in F&J and shared the visit with us. Bob

No Kidding....I was approaching the open bay from 90 degrees where the survivor was being backed into by a guest and a co-pilot, then I peeked in and said "holy f'g shit" to myself...looked like a dream to see all those rare roadsters in one place. The hot rod was up around the high side of the place, then they drove it back down to put it away. I think the owner was letting the West Coast guys drive some cars to get all "ramped up" for the Hershey trip. LOL One older guy there said he never went when the swap spaces were all on grass?? Walking on tar for 4 days must be tough on the ol' feet.. I'd take wet morning dew on the grass any day, mud is optional.

  17. i recently found a 33 standard hood on the 'bay, and i took it part and took it to the sandblasters yesterday. the plan is two fold: one, i want a backup just in case and two, i want to set the second hood up to be used as just a top, to change the look when i want. this way i do not have to take the original hood apart and risk scratching it.
i also got a backup grill shell and insert from out of mallomikes collection. pictures to come.
i removed the bushings and sandblasted the bars today in my cabinet. DSCF0003 2.JPG

That will look great on the wall, you could start a trend like the '32 Ford shell guys. Bob

I remember putting a set on my '55 back in the mid-sixties. Too much for the real ones so I bought a set from a guy that made them from shock ends and tubing. Kept the Bucrons planted!
