Hot Rods Deuce Grille Shells 0n 32's & Model A's

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by HOTRODPRIMER, Feb 25, 2018.

  1. Let's see your Deuce Grille shells & inserts on your hot rod.

I'll start it off with a Model A that I have saved in my album as one of the cars that tripe my trigger. HRP

HRP would you settle for one on a dining room chair instead? Don't have it on my model A yet. :(

DSCF7225.JPG I've had that insert since 1961, when I swapped the floor mats out of Dad's month old '61 Ford, I was 10 year old at the time. Some day I'd like to have it on a rolling project. Bob

  11. There is probably as many grille shells & inserts hanging on the wall than gracing the front of hot rods. :)

I picked this one up at a swap meet and sold it to a friend and 3 years later I bought it back when he abandoned his project. HRP

  23. To be perfectly honest,No I didn't.

Come to think about it all the originals I have purchased over the last 30 years were original black paint with the exception of the red one that has been filled. HRP

Crummy phone pic sorry. This grill is work of art with the hand made stainless trim. Cant divulge any more till the car is done but thought it was worth sharing.
