When we raced at Meltdown last summer, about every other guy that came up to us intoduced themselves with their Hamb handle, We met so many Hamb friends there it was really fun, lots of the Maryland HAMBers come to Beaver Springs a lot, We probably have met a couple dozen. all total. My son calls us Old guys with white hair and beards racers..... He is right , just look at the Meltdown Drivers meeting...lol

I'd have to say I'd agree. After reading what he's done, I'd love to watch him for a weekend in his shop fitting a XX head on an YY block, etc...and amazing talent in my book.

Reading through the whole thread I just wonder how many of us have stood side by side at an event in the past year or so and didn't know that we were around fellow Hambers. I had to have been around other HAMB folks at TROG West at Pismo Beach and think a couple of us took photos of the same car at the same time. Same with the East West Flathead run and then when we went to Goodguys Spokane I later spotted Hamb rigs that I had taken photos of there.

I was walking along the sidewalks of Sunset Beach when I heard "Hey! Johnny Gee" It was J Fishbeck. I had no idea who he was in that moment.

It would take WAY more than one weekend.

I think that my biggest regret will end up being that I could never live the life that he did.

  20. i like the H.A.M.B. also for the social experiences, so this thread shouldn't die.
i'd like to spend just one day at Mark Moriarity's place.

  23. At Jnaki 's We'd go surfing, and to the Drags, cruise the Pacific coast highway,Mulholland Dr. Sunset Blvd. And tell lots of cool stories, about the good old days!

It's snowy here. I was going to say someone in Southern Arizona, Phoenix or Tucson. Scrolling down I saw someone mentioned Squirrel. I have to agree.

If I had the fundage and the time I would chose to help out one of my HAMB buddies with their ride. Maybe run down south to DDDenny's and help him get that roadster put together.

Common mistake, beaners breathing sounds a lot like rambling.

The trick to telling if he’s breathing or talking is that when he talks it starts with “like hey man” with both hands out stretched sorta floating up in front of him about eye level like he trying to pat down an ocean of bubbles lol

  28. Nine pages, and only one mention of RacerX? Hangin' out sniffin' nitro, what more do you want?
