PhotoShop instructor told my sister who did the deed for me in that photo, "NEVER piss off someone who knows this software!"

  9. I believe the green coupe above is the John Carter coupe. Anyone know what happened to it or have anymore info. Does anyone have any other pictures of it showing engine, chassis details or interior

That's a good start 1933 willys, I thought it looked like one that Steveo had posted. Where was/is John Carter from? AA/G so it would be around 66. Nice looking car although I thought it was primered color, I don't see to well.

  11. I'm not sure but I think Indiana, There's other pictures in this thread but most of the time the car looks brown. That color did not photograph very well in 1960's technology for some reason. There are later pic's also where he partnered up with a Rod McGavock. That's why I'm looking for more info 1 Carter coupe & McGavock 33 Willys AA-G Sept. 1966.jpg

If this is the same John Carter that had a 40 Willys Coupe back in the 60s I'm pretty sure that he was from Louisville Kentucky

Elgringo do you mean the same John Carter that had that 33 Willys? I just reread your post and understand now. The timeline fits so it's possible hopefully someone on here knows, but our numbers are dwindling, I slipped on ice in my driveway and fractured 2 ribs, I don't bounce like I used to. This is real history in these posts.

  15. Alright, Pat, no more driveway surfing for you!;) Seriously, I'm sure the ribs don't feel so good, but I'm glad it wasn't your head bouncing about. We need you around to help us remember this history! Hope you're feeling better, soon!!

Thanks Bowtie, it does hurt especially when I laugh so let's keep it somber for awhile (just kidding).

Get well soon Pat. You better not go to any comedy clubs for a while. Yes I was wondering if the same John Carter was involved in both Willys Coupes.
